Abstract
UKR: У роботі робиться спроба дослідити принципи підбору аутентичних текстів для читання на заняттях з англійської мови. Розглядається питання якісного показника вибору текстів. Проводиться аналіз різноманітних критеріїв підбору текстів, їх роль у формуванні мовленнєвих навичок у студентів.
ENG: The article considers the main principles of choosing English authentic texts for class reading. This article discusses the issue of the qualitative indicator of choosing text for reading. Various criteria of choosing texts for class reading, the role they play in the process of formation of students’ language skills are analyzed.
