Item Reducing Ammonia Concentrations in Atmosphere After its Unplanned Release(Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, Dnipro, 2017) Amelina, L. V.; Biliaiev, Mykola M.; Mashykhina, Polina B.EN: Purpose. The aim of this work is development of numerical model, which allows to calculate the efficiency of neutralizer supply for reduction of air pollution in case of unplanned ammonia emission at the territory of ammonia pump station. The numerical model should allow fast calculating, taking into account the meteorological parameters and buildings situated near the source of toxic chemical emission and equipment for neutralizer supply. Methodology. The developed model is based on the equation for potential flow and equation of pollutant dispersion. To simulate the chemical interaction between ammonia and neutralizer the stoichiometry equation is used. Equation of potential flow is used to compute flow pattern among buildings. To solve the equation for potential flow the Samarskii implicit difference scheme is used. The implicit change-triangle difference scheme is used to solve equation of mass transfer. While for the numerical integration the authors use the rectangular difference grid. Method of porosity technique («markers method») is applied to create the form of comprehensive computational region. Emission of ammonia is modeled using Delta function for point source. Findings. Developed numerical model belongs to the class of «diagnostic models». This model takes into account the main physical factors affecting the process of dispersion of ammonia and neutralizer in the atmosphere, as well as the influence of buildings on admixture dispersion. On the basis of the developed numerical models the authors carried out a computational experiment to estimate the efficiency of neutralizer supply for reduction of air pollution in case of unplanned ammonia release at ammonia pump station. Originality. Developed numerical model allows calculating the flow pattern among buildings and estimating the efficiency of neutralizer supply for reduction of air pollution in the case unplanned ammonia release. Practical value. Model allows performing fast calculations of the atmosphere pollution in the case of unplanned ammonia release.Item Соотношения между жесткостными потерями и потерями в подшипниках канатных блоков(Днепропетровский национальный университет железнодорожного транспорта имени академика В. Лазаряна, Днипро, 2017) Богомаз, Владимир Николаевич; Бондаренко, Леонид Николаевич; Очеретнюк, Максим Викторович; Ткачов, А. А.RUS: Цель. Для уточнения величин коэффициента полезного действия (КПД) канатных блоков необходимо определить коэффициент жесткости канатов блоков с учетом классификационной группы механизма и угла обхвата канатом блока. Предполагается использовать при этом хорошо опробованные значения коэффициентов полезного действия канатных блоков с учетом углов обхвата канатами блоков и аналитически найденные величины коэффициента трения подшипников качения, приведенных к цапфе. Методика. В работе используется аналитический метод определения коэффициента сопротивления подшипника блока при вращении его как внутренней, так и наружной обойм, а также расчетная схема подшипника блока. Результаты. Для канатных блоков проведен анализ влияния способа смазки, режима работы механизма и угла обхвата канатом блока на потери в подшипниках. Приведены соответствующие сравнительные таблицы значений потерь. Анализ полученных результатов расчетов позволяет установить: 1) главным сопротивлением, влияющим на коэффициент полезного действия канатных блоков, является сопротивление в подшипниках; 2) второй по величине составляющей является жесткостные потери, зависящие от режима работы, угла обхвата канатом блока, вида смазки подшипника; 3) КПД блока при вращении внутренней обоймы выше, чем при вращении наружной примерно, на 3 % при густой смазке и режиме 1М; 4) при последовательном расположении узлов с подшипником качения необходимо стремиться к конструкции узла, в котором вращается внутренняя обойма; 5) при числе блоков до 5 можно пользоваться рекомендуемыми в литературе значениями подшипников блоков с ошибкой в величине КПД до 10 %. Научная новизна. Авторы получили значения сопротивлений в шариковых подшипниках канатных блоков и жесткостные потери, обусловленные обхватом блока канатом. Использовали при этом зависимости по определению коэффициента трения качения, полученные с применением аналитических зависимостей Герца по установлению контактных напряжений и деформаций, а также экспериментальных величин коэффициента трения качения для блоков. Практическая значимость. Полученные авторами значения сопротивлений могут быть использованы для уточненных расчетов механизмов машин.Item Побудова проміжної опори моста як параметричного об’єкта за допомогою Autodesk Revit(Дніпропетровський національний університет залізничного транспорту імені академіка В. Лазаряна, Дніпро, 2017) Гладка, Катерина Ігорівна; Бочарова, Наталя ПетрівнаUK: Мета. У науковій роботі необхідно вирішити наступні задачі: 1) дослідити можливості Autodesk Revit по створенню параметричних об’єктів; 2) створити інформаційну модель проміжної опори моста з можливістю зміни розмірів моделі без зміни геометрії об’єкта; 3) відстежити складність та доцільність використання параметричних моделей при проектуванні елементів мостових переходів. Методика. Дослідження проводились за допомогою просторового моделювання в системі Autodesk Revit. Задавались співвідношення параметрів об’єкта, взаємозв’язки між окремими геометричними елементами та перевірялось, які зміни відбуваються з моделлю при зміні заданих параметрів. Результати. Створено модель опори двох типів: для залізничних мостів та для автодорожніх. Для обох типів моделі змінюються розміри та кількість складових елементів відповідно до введених параметрів. Проведена робота підтверджує можливість створення інформаційних параметричних моделей складної форми та доцільність їх використання при проектуванні мостів і не тільки. Наукова новизна. Створення інформаційних моделей – сучасна та актуальна тема. Але як в літературі, так і в інтернет-ресурсах параметризація розглядається на прикладі примітивних об’єктів. Модель, що запропонована в статті, складається з кількох залежних геометричних тіл, отже, розкриває тему параметризації об’єктів більш повно та детально, порівняно з існуючими джерелами. Що стосується створення параметричних моделей елементів мостових переходів – то в літературі така інформація не зустрічається, тобто, запропонована вперше. Практична значимість. Параметризація просторових моделей дає можливість значно прискорити та спростити процес проектування будь-яких об’єктів за рахунок використання типових параметричних моделей у багатьох проектах. Особливо це стосується проектування мостових переходів, адже стандартні елементи для них, такі як опора або прогонова будова, в програмних продуктах поки що не представлені. Проектування мостів, як плоского контуру, порівняно з використанням просторових інформаційних моделей, – довгий та неефективний процес, до того ж не дає можливості візуалізації, яка є необхідною складовою будь-якого проекту.Item Ways to Manage Heating Inertia(Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, Dnipro, 2017) Biloshytskyi, Eduard V.EN: Purpose. The research paper proposes to estimate the effect of heat inertia of the water heating system, in transient operation modes, on the temperature condition in the passenger car, as well as to offer technical solutions intended to reduce the heating system inertia effect and to maintain a stable temperature condition in the passenger car premises in transitional modes of the heating system. Methodology. The author developed the method for controlling the heat transfer of heating system pipes with the help of regulating casing. To control the heating system and the heat transfer of heating pipes, two types of temperature control sensors were used in the passenger car: certain sensors interacted with regulatory casings, while the others interacted with high-voltage tubular heating element control devices. To assess the efficiency of heat interchange regulation of heating pipes and the heating system control, with installed regulating casings, the operation of the heating system with regulating casings and two types of sensors was mathematically modelled. Mathematical modelling used the experimental test data. The results of experimental tests and mathematical modelling were compared. Findings. Currently in operated passenger cars, control of heating appliances is not constructively provided. Automatic maintenance of the set temperature in a passenger car is limited to switching on and off of high-voltage tubular heating elements. The use of regulating casings on heating pipes allows reducing the effects of heat inertia and maintaining stable thermal conditions in a passenger car, using the heating system as a heat accumulator, and also provides the opportunity to realize an individual control of air temperature in the compartment. Originality. For the first time, the paper studied the alternative ways of regulating the temperature condition in a passenger car. Using of the heating system as a heat accumulator. Practical value. The regulation of the heat transfers of the heating pipes by regulating casings allows reducing the effect of thermal inertia of the heating system on the temperature condition in a passenger car, implementing individual adjustment of air temperature in a compartment within 40% of the power of the heating pipe section, using the heating system as a heat accumulator.Item Визначення еквівалентного та оптимального діаметрів конічно-циліндричного наконечника з виступами для проколювання ґрунту(Дніпропетровський національний університет залізничного транспорту імені академіка В. Лазаряна, Дніпро, 2017) Кравець, С. В.; Посмітюха, Олександр Петрович; Супонєв, В. М.UK: Мета. Будівництво нових залізничних колій, об’єктів інфраструктури, ремонт та заміна існуючих підземних комунікацій пов’язані з розробкою горизонтальних порожнин у ґрунті безтраншейним способом. Статичний прокол ґрунту робочим органом із конусним наконечником є найбільш поширеним методом у практиці формування піонерної свердловини при безтраншейному прокладанні розподільних комунікацій. Однак, у процесі виконання проектних розрахунків отримання пілотної свердловини та подальшого її розширення до необхідних розмірів гостро стоїть питання способів розрахунків робочих зусиль. Існуючі методики спираються на емпіричні залежності та експериментальні коефіцієнти, що зменшують точність підрахунків та збільшують вартість робіт. Пропонується підвищити точність та спростити процес визначення зусилля проколювання ґрунту конічним наконечником статичним способом. Методика. В роботі пропонується визначення еквівалентного діаметра конічного наконечника, що зумовлений діаметром свердловини, та теоретичний спосіб розрахунку оптимальних параметрів грунтопроколюючої головки з використанням відомих параметрів: типу ґрунту та його вологості, що визначаються за Державними будівельними нормами (ДБН). Результати. Отримані теоретичні дослідження можуть бути використані з метою підвищення ефективності робочого обладнання для проколу ґрунту статичним методом при безтраншейному прокладанні підземних комунікацій. Наукова новизна. Авторами встановлена залежність еквівалентного діаметра основи конуса від діаметра циліндричної частини наконечника проколюючої головки, яка дозволяє усунути з процесу статичного проколювання сили тертя на бічній циліндричній поверхні наконечника. Практична значимість. Теоретичні розрахунки для визначення оптимальних діаметрів конічного наконечника з виступами для проколювання ґрунту дозволили встановити: якщо діаметр конуса більший максимально-граничного діаметра свердловини (ґрунтової порожнини), то лобовий опір конічно-циліндричного наконечника зростає інтенсивніше за опір циліндричної частини наконечника. Максимальне зниження зусилля проколювання має місце для ґрунтової порожнини, діаметр якої у 2 рази менший за максимальний граничний діаметр. При проведенні розрахунків із вибору розмірів робочих органів для проколювання ґрунту вихідними даними є тип ґрунту та його характеристики за ДБН, а також вологість ґрунту, визначена традиційними способами.Item Numerical Simulation of Pollution Dispersion in Urban Street(Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, Dnipro, 2017) Biliaiev, Mykola M.; Slavinska, O. S.; Kyrychenko, R. V.EN: Purpose. The scientific paper solves the question of 2D numerical model development, which allows quick computation of air pollution in streets from vehicles. The aim of the work is numerical model development that would enable to predict the level of air pollution by using protective barriers along the road. Methodology. The developed model is based on the equation of inviscid flow and equation of pollutant transfer. Potential equation is used to compute velocity field of air flow near road in the case of protection barriers application. To solve equation for potential flow implicit difference scheme of «conditional approximation« is used. The implicit change – triangle difference scheme is used to solve equation of convective – diffusive dispersion. Numerical integration is carried out using the rectangular difference grid. Method of porosity technique («markers method») is used to create the form of comprehensive computational region. Emission of toxic gases from vehicle is modeled using Delta function for point source. Findings. Authors developed 2D numerical model. It takes into account the main physical factors affecting the process of dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere when emissions of vehicle including protection barriers near the road. On the basis of the developed numerical models a computational experiment was performed to estimate the level of air pollution in the street. Originality. A numerical model has been created. It makes it possible to calculate 2D aerodynamics of the wind flow in the presence of noises and the process of mass transfer of toxic gas emissions from the motorway. The model allows taking into account the presence of the car on the road, the form of a protective barrier, the presence of a curb. Calculations have been performed to determine the contamination zone formed at the protective barrier that is located at the motorway. Practical value. An effective numerical model that can be applied in the development of environmental protection measures for the operation of road transport in the city is considered. The developed model allows estimating sizes, the form and intensity of a zone of pollution at a motorway.Item 4 (70) випуск. Вісник становить інтерес для працівників науково-дослідних організацій, викладачів вищих навчальних закладів, докторантів, аспірантів, магістрантів та інженерно-технічних працівників.Item Determining Permissible Speed of Tilting Train in Curved Track(Дніпровський національний університет залізничного транспорту імені академіка В. Лазаряна, Дніпро, 2017) Kapitsa, Mykhaylo I.; Bobyr, Dmytro V.; Desiak, Andrii Y.ENG: Purpose. The main purpose of the article is to determine the permissible speed of the air-cushioned tilting train in curved track and to justify the expediency of operating this type of rolling stock on the railways of Ukraine to increase the speed, improve the passenger comfort and save the energy due to more uniform high-speed train driving. Methodology. The determination of the maximum permissible speed of the tilted train in curved track involves the use of methods of linear and vector algebra and empirical formulas for applied scientific and technical research. The calculation of the maximum speed is based on the principle of calculating centrifugal force for the velocities that meet the safety criteria of movement on the horizontal unbalanced acceleration in the stable radius curve. Findings. The results of the calculations showed that in the 1000 m radius curved track section, provided the passenger comfort, the maximum permissible speed of the train without forced tilt is 132 km/h, and with the forced tilt – 189 km/h. The velocity gain in the curve is about 30% and up to 10% on the section (depending on the number of curves). Originality. The method of determining the permissible speed of the tilted train in curved track is improved, which consists in determining the permissible centrifugal force acting on the train in the stable radius curve, taking into account the passenger comfort conditions. Practical value. This method allows accurately determining the permissible speed on the condition of passenger comfort in the curved section and the required additional tilt angle of the train, depending on the speed, curve radius and canting. Enhanced speed and comfort of passenger trains in the future will increase the demand for rail services among the population and strengthen the position of rail transport in Ukraine’s transport system.Item Potentials Railwise Propagation Study(Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, Dnipro, 2017) Yashchuk, Kateryna I.EN: Purpose. The article deals with conducting the study of the potentials and currents propagation along the rails to evaluate the potential difference and the current asymmetry in the rails that may have an impact on the work of railway automatics and supervisory systems. Methodology. To compass the purpose, the author applies methods of analysis and synthesis of track circuit electrical engineering calculations, mathematical modeling and methods of homogeneous and heterogeneous ladder circuits. Findings. The conducted theoretical studies indicate that in the mountainous sections of DC traction railways there are very high-level currents, whereby even at nominal asymmetry ratio the asymmetry current will be unacceptably high. The re-equipment of running line with the automatic blocking system with tonal rail circuits resulted in reduction of the number of impedance bonds, the equalizing functions of which required further advanced research, that allowed obtaining the potential railwise propagation curves when installing the impedance bonds every 6 and 5 km. The resulting potential difference was too high for railway automation systems, so the potential propagation study was conducted with impedance bonds placed every 3 and 3.5 km, which greatly improved the operation conditions of track circuits. Originality. The proposed method for calculating the propagation of potentials and currents in the rail network of DC traction line is characterized by the representation of the common ladder circuit of each rail as a series of T-shaped four-poles connected in cascade, taking into account the grounding of the contact-line supports on the nearer rail. It has allowed estimating the levels of asymmetry currents that branch into the equipment of track circuits and have a negative impact on their operation. Practical value. The obtained results can be used in designing and re-equipping the running lines with new railway automatics and supervisory systems, as well as for evaluating the influence of high asymmetry currents on the railway automation systems operation.
