Abstract
UKR: В умовах швидкого розвитку глобальної транспортної інфраструктури та зростання конкуренції між різними видами транспорту, залізничний транспорт постійно шукає нові шляхи для підвищення своєї конкурентоспроможності. Стаття розглядає концепцію мультимодальних перевезень як стратегічний проект для підвищення конкурентоспроможності залізничного транспорту на ринковому просторі. Окрім технологічного аспекту, стаття висвітлює і комерційний бік питання, акцентуючи увагу на необхідності розробки нових конкурентоспроможних тарифних планів, оптимізації ресурсів та забезпечення максимальної зручності для пасажирів. Загалом, автори акцентують увагу на значущості мультимодальних перевезень як стратегічного напряму розвитку залізничного транспорту. Інтеграція різних видів транспорту, розвиток транспортно-пересадкових вузлів, використання сучасних технологій та цифрова трансформація дозволять забезпечити ефективне, гнучке та якісне обслуговування пасажирів і підвищити доходність транспортної компанії. У світлі глобальних змін та зростання потреб ринку, залізничний транспорт має всі шанси зберегти своє лідируюче положення серед інших видів транспорту. Але для цього необхідно активно інвестувати в інновації, розвивати мультимодальні перевезення та підвищувати рівень сервісу для своїх клієнтів.
ENG: Amidst the rapid development of global transportation infrastructure and increasing competition among various modes of transport, rail transport is constantly seeking new ways to enhance its competitiveness. The article discusses the concept of multimodal transportation as a strategic initiative to boost rail transport's competitiveness in the marketplace. In the work, the authors consider the development of multimodality in the transport system, emphasizing the importance of rail transportation in such a system. Beyond the technological aspect, the article also highlights the commercial side of the issue, emphasizing the need to develop new competitive tariff plans, optimize resources, and ensure maximum convenience for passengers. Overall, the authors stress the significance of multimodal transportation as a strategic direction for the development of rail transport. The integration of different modes of transport, development of transportation interchange hubs, the use of modern technologies, and digital transformation will ensure efficient, flexible, and high-quality passenger service and increase the profitability of the transportation company. The advantages of multimodal transportation are their efficiency, flexibility, cost optimization, increased competitiveness, and environmental responsibility. The system is based on the integration of different types of transport to provide door-to-door service. The authors also consider the possibilities of increasing the competitiveness of railways, in particular by means of the development of high-speed lines and transport and transfer hubs. The article also emphasizes the need to solve problems in the field of multimodal transportation and proposes an algorithm for determining the expediency of their organization. Considering global changes and the growing market demands, rail transport has every chance to retain its leading position among other modes of transportation. However, to achieve this, it is essential to actively invest in innovation, develop multimodal transportation, and enhance the service level for its clients.
