Abstract
UKR: Магістерська дисертація виконана на 146 сторінках, з них основного тексту – 116 сторінок. Список використаної літератури охоплює 79 позицій (у тому числі 64 іноземними мовами). У дисертації здійснено спробу окреслення топосів і виявлення локусів, які зумовлюють існування перших, за допомогою ментальної та лексичної репрезентації у романі Джин Ріс «Широке Саргасове море». Мета дослідження – за допомогою аналізу локусів виокремити і описати топоси, які створюють фабулу роману Джин Ріс «Широке Саргасове море». Об’єктом дослідження є виокремлення топосів через описи локусів, які використала авторка роману «Широке Саргасове море» Джин Ріс для створення «картини світу». Методи дослідження – лінгвокультурологічний аналіз; метод суцільної вибірки, дефінітивний метод; загальнонаукові методи спостереження, опис, систематизація, індукція, дедукція; емпірико-теоретичні методи аналізу й синтезу.
ENG: The total volume is 146 pages, the main text is 116 pages. The bibliography has 79 items, including 15 in Cyrillic and 64 in Latin. The relevance of the study is determined primarily by the attention of modern linguistics to vivid coverage of the existential issues of freedom and slavery, victory and defeat, feminist ideas, and patriarchal prejudices. Nowadays this literary work is being studied in connection with the reinterpretation of classical literature. It is worth noting that among Ukrainian researchers, the novel has not been studied much. The categories of topos and loci used for creating the picture of the world on the material of Jean Rhys’s Wide Sargasso Sea have not been analysed yet. In the proposed diploma paper, we made an attempt to delineate the topos and identify the loci with the description of mental and lexical representation. The purpose of the study is is to identify and describe topos and loci which create the plot of Jean Rhys’s Wide Sargasso Sea. The object of study is the description of topos and loci which were used in Jean Rhys’s Wide Sargasso Sea to create the “picture of the world”. The subject of the study is to find out topos in Jean Rhys’s Wide Sargasso Sea and describe them with the help of loci.
