Abstract
UKR: В статті розглядаються основні особливості, методи та шляхи розвитку soft skills під час вивчення іноземної
мови на дистанційній платформі. Метою статті також є поширити досвід розвитку таких актуальних навичок як компоненти комунікативних компетентностей. Підкреслюється актуальність розвитку soft skills для випускників інженерних спеціальностей Українського державного університету науки та технологій. В статті представлені погляди
авторів на актуальність та форми роботи як поза аудиторної так і аудиторної роботи для розвитку таких навичок як
здатність здійснювати мовну комунікацію під час ділових зустрічей, переговорів, нарад, конференцій; вміння реалізовувати публічні виступи, домовлятися та переконувати, захищати свою точку зору; вміло реалізовувати письмове
спілкування; критичне мислення: вміння уникати конфліктів та вирішувати їх; здатність досягати домовленості та
угоди; лідерські риси: вміння шляхом спостереження виявляти суть та основні тенденції. Беручи до уваги концепцію Гоулмана, доводиться, що емоційний інтелект як здатність людини визначати свої почуття, керувати ними та
використовувати інформацію про себе та інших, щоб впливати на майбутню поведінку, включає чотири сфери:
самосвідомість, самоконтроль, соціальна обізнаність і управління стосунками. Підкреслюється, що саме ці чотири
сфери емоційного інтелекту впливають на людину і формують основу її поведінки, без чого неможливий розвиток
актуальних складових soft skills. Іноземна мова стала однією із головних компонент у сфері успішного ведення бізнесу, що сприяє розвитку міжнародного співробітництва. Окрім того, в епоху високих технологій знання англійської
мови є необхідною складовою для кваліфікаційних кадрів задля роботи в міжнародних командах. Для успішної
адаптації в міжнародному академічному середовищі, для обміну професійною, науковою та дослідницькою інформацією володіння англійською мовою є також необхідною компонентою. Тому англійська мова є підґрунтям для
формування soft skills, які відображені в універсальних компетенціях Робочих програм з англійської мови.
ENG: The article considers the main features, methods and ways of developing soft skills when distance learning a foreign language. The purpose of the article is also to spread the experience of developing such actual skills as components of communicative competences. The relevance of developing soft skills for the graduates of the engineering faculties at Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies is emphasized. The article presents the views of the authors on the actual character both extracurricular and class forms of work to develop such skills as the ability to communicate efficiently in business meetings, negotiations, meetings, and conferences; the ability to make public speeches, negotiate and convince, defend one's point of view; the ability to communicate effectively in writing; critical thinking: the ability to avoid conflicts and resolve them; the ability to reach an agreement and make deals; the characteristics of a leader: the ability to identify the essence and main trends through observation. Taking into account Goleman's concept, it is proved that emotional intelligence, a person's ability to identify their feelings, manage them and use information about themselves and others to influence future behavior, includes four elements: self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, and relationship management. It is emphasized that these four spheres of emotional intelligence influence a person and form the basis of their behavior. Without this, the development of relevant components of soft skills is impossible. A foreign language has become one of the main parts of successful business, it contributes to the development of international cooperation. Moreover, in the era of high technologies, the English language is an essential for qualified employees to work in an international team. For a successful adaptation in the international academic environment, for the exchange of professional, scientific and research information, mastering the English language is also necessary. Therefore, the English language is the basis for the formation of soft skills, which are reflected in the universal competencies of the English Educational Programs.
