| dc.description.abstract | UKR: Стаття присвячена актуальним питанням визначення сутності категорії «авіаційне страхування». Обґрунтовано, що особливості даного виду страхування пов’язані зі специфічними ризиками, які можуть спричинити катастрофічні для компанії наслідки зі значними збитками внаслідок їх кумулятивного характеру. Проаналізовано та узагальнено сутність поняття «авіаційне страхування» у наукових публікаціях. Доведено, що авіаційне страхування включає комплекс ризиків, що відносяться до кількох галузей страхування. Проаналізовано та зроблено висновок, що страхування авіаційних ризиків в Україні характеризується значною кількістю ліцензованих страховиків, яка є завеликою на нинішньому етапі розвитку авіаційного страхування в нашій країні. Запропоновано, з метою захисту інтересів і страхувальників, і страховиків обмежити їх кількість на державному рівні з урахуванням економічної доцільності та рівня розвитку авіаційного страхування. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: The article deals with the topical issues of determining the essence of the category “aviation insurance” and its features compared to other types of insurance. It is substantiated that features of the relevant insurance are associated with specific risks that can cause catastrophic consequences for the company with significant losses due to their cumulative nature. The author notes that air transport insurance is the largest segment of the aviation insurance market. It is emphasized that aviation belongs to the category of high-risk sectors because of the need to comply with high-grade aviation security (probability of property loss) and flight safety (life, health of service consumers). The essence of the concept “aviation insurance” in scholarly publications is analyzed and summarized. Changes in the classification of aviation insurance under the new Law of Ukraine “On Insurance” are studied. It is proved that aviation insurance includes a set of risks related to several branches of insurance. Studies of the range of insurance products of six insurance companies operating in the specified insurance segment make it possible to state that insurance programs are represented by quite typical insurance products. The author analyzes and concludes that aviation risk insurance in Ukraine is characterized by a variety of licensed insurers, which is too broad at the current stage of aviation insurance development in our country. The article confirms this conclusion by calculating the specific weight of collected insurance premiums by the first twenty insurance companies of the concerned insurance segment. It is substantiated that the activity of the vast majority of insurance companies in the market of compulsory aviation insurance for civil aviation is not economically feasible. They present this type of aviation insurance in the line of their insurance products only for expanding the range. To protect the interests of both policyholders and insurers, it is proposed to shrink them at the state level, considering the economic feasibility and development degree of aviation insurance. | en |
