Abstract
UKR: Статтю присвячено одному з аспектів розвитку сучасного літературознавства та гендерної проблематики, а саме дослідженню образу жінки-войовниці. Наголошується, що аналіз архетипних основ образу жінки-
войовниці є своєчасним, оскільки дає змогу сформувати та дослідити генезу уявлень про феномен амазонства як
такий та сприяє розширенню проблематики сучасного літературного дискурсу. У дослідженні були використані
методи спостереження, аналізу, функціональний та описовий методи.
Було зазначено, що архетипична природа жінки має величезний вплив на формування її поведінки, на становлення жіночої особистості. З усвідомленням та активізацією своїх архетипів жінка має змогу діяти на свою користь
та задовольняти, насамперед, свої власні потреби. Авторки зазначають, що образ амазонок, як уособлення архетипу вільної войовничої жінки, є історичним явищем, прояви якого можна знайти в культурах різних етносів, у
тому числі і в українському. Наголошується, що наявність архетипу войовничої жінки в українському фольклорі не
пояснюється фактом запозичення образу амазонки з давньогрецької міфології. Авторки доводять, що цей архетип
цілковито відповідає українській ментальності і особливо яскраво втілився в образі поляниць. У статті зазначається, що спосіб життя амазонок, як представниць абсолютної свободи жінки від чоловіка, викликав осуд та
заперечення права самого їх існування у патріархальному суспільстві. Слід зазначити, що згадки про жінок-войовниць можна знайти у чисельних творах та фольклорних записах таких відомих українських письменників та поетів, як Леся Українка та Іван Франко. Світовий образ амазонок було увіковічено та оповито завісою загадковості
у різноманітних витворах мистецтва, зокрема в літературних творах, що значно збагатило культурну спадщину
людства. Тим не менш, підкреслюється, що відношення до цього історично-культурного феномену є й досі неоднозначним, оскільки питання про роль та місце жінки у суспільстві й досі залишається актуальним та викликає багато суперечливих думок і, безумовно, потребує більш детальної уваги з боку дослідників та подальшого вивчення.
ENG: The article is devoted to one of the aspects of the development of the contemporary literary criticism and gender studies, namely the research of the woman warrior image. It is emphasized that the analysis of the archetypal backgrounds of the woman warrior image is apropos, as it makes possible to set up and investigate the genesis of the ideas of the phenomenon of the amazonship itself. The given analysis also facilitates the expansion of the problem questions in the modern literary discourse. The research uses the methods of observation, analysis, the functional and descriptive methods. It is pointed out that the archetypal woman’s nature has a huge influence on her behaviour, and on the formation of woman’s identity. Having understood and activated her archetypes, a woman is able to do everything for her benefits and satisfy, first of all, her own needs. The authors of the article point out that the image of amazon women as the embodiment of the archetype of free woman warrior is the historical phenomenon, the displays of this phenomenon can be found in the cultures of different ethnoses, including the Ukrainian one. It is pointed out that the presence of the woman warrior archetype in the Ukrainian folklore can not be explained with the fact of the amazon image borrowing from the Ancient Greek mythology. The authors prove that this archetype fully corresponds to the Ukrainian mentality and is vividly embodied in the image of polianyts. The article says that the way of living of amazon women as the representatives of the absolute freedom of a woman from the man’s power, provoked some disapproval and the denial of the right of their existence in the patriarch society. It should be noted that the references about women warriors can be found in the numerous works of such famous Ukrainian writers and poets as Lesia Ukrainka and Ivan Franko. The world image of amazon women was memorialized and coved with the veil of mystery in various art works, namely in the literary works that enriched greatly the cultural human heritage. Nevertheless, it is emphasized that the treatment of this historical and cultural phenomenon is still ambiguous, as the question about the role and place of the woman in the society is still actual and raises a lot of disputable thoughts and, of course, it needs more detailed attention of researchers and it needs further study.
