Abstract
UKR: Звідки ми? Рано чи пізно кожен задає собі це питання. Хто жив на землях, де живемо ми зараз? Які спогади зберігає наш край? Яке походження назви, яку здавна мало наше місто? Що відбувалося на цих землях у найбуремніші часи української історії? Які споруди збереглися з давніх часів? Які зникли назавжди? Як зберегти те, що витримало удари часу і подій, для майбутніх поколінь? Ця книга відповість на ці та багато інших питань. Видання розраховане на широке коло читачів, зокрема студентів вищих навчальних закладів та коледжів. Книга буде цікава всім, хто любить старовини та цікавинки минулого, кого хвилює історія краю та залишки архаїчної катеринославської архітектури. Читачі цієї книги дізнаються щось нове та зацікавляться історією краю та збереженням його культурної спадщини.

Which have disappeared forever? How to preserve what has withstood the blows of time and events for future generations? This book will answer these and many others questions. The edition is intended for a wide range of readers, including students of higher education institutions and colleges. The book will be interesting for all who love antiquities and curiosities of the past, who are concerned about the history of the region and the remnants of archaic Katerynoslav architecture. Readers of this book will learn something new and be interested in the history of the region and the preservation of its cultural heritage.
