Item Interaction Between Rolling Stock and Railway Track with of the Elastic Properties of the Base(Scientific Technical Union of Mechanical Engineering Industry, Sofia, Bulgaria, 2018) Myamlin, Sergey V.; Bondarenko, Iryna O.ENG: The main trend in considering the interaction of the railway track and the rolling stock is the studying of the parameters of the rigidity of the interaction. For the study, a model of the track design, described using the basic concepts of the theory of elasticity and the propagation of elastic waves was developed. The study of the peculiarities of the interaction of the rolling stock and the track, taking into account the elastic properties of the base, allows to expand the possibilities of solving the problems of ensuring their functionally safe operation with a certain level of operational efficiency.Item Mathematical Modeling of Dynamic Loading of Cassette Bearings for Freight Cars(Kaunas University of Technology; Publishing House “Technologija“, Kaunas, Lithuania, 2017) Myamlin, Sergey V.; Lunys, Olegas; Neduzha, Larysa O.; Kyryl’chuk, Oleg A.EN: The article deals with the solution of the contact problem of load car axle-box cassette bearings. A model of finite elements of axle-box tensely deformed state is presented. The problem has been solved by the combination of the finite elements method and the generalized power method. Due to the results, we can define mechanical properties.Item Research of Friction Indices Influence on the Freight Car Dynamics(Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Lublin, Lublin, Poland, 2013) Myamlin, Sergey V.; Neduzha, Larysa O.; Ten, Alexander A.; Shvets, Angela A.EN: The work is devoted to study of friction indices influence in the "body – bogie" system in freight cars (the change of the friction coefficient in the side bearers during operation) on their basic indices – the coefficients of the horizontal and vertical dynamics, vehicle body acceleration, frame strength, and derailment stability coefficient. The study was conducted by mathematical modeling of the freight car dynamic loading using the software package «DYNRAIL». The focus was mainly concentrated on the influence of the friction force change between the body and bogies. Theoretical studies of dynamic loading of the freight open cars were conducted in both the empty and loaded conditions with the bogies model 18–100 during motion in the tangent and curved railway sections with different radii and the established motion speeds. In this case, the basic dynamic parameters of the freight car were calculated. The theoretical research results in determination of freight car dynamic indices taking into consideration the friction coefficients in the system “body – bogie” allow for an adequate assessment of the friction coefficient between the freight car bearers parameters, on the railway traffic safety factors (coefficients of dynamics, vehicle body acceleration, frame strength and derailment stability coefficient).Item Testing of Railway Vehicles Using Roller Rigs(Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vilnius, Lithuania, 2017) Myamlin, Sergey V.; Kalivoda, Jan; Neduzha, Larysa O.EN: Roller rigs are laboratory devices enabling to study various phenomena in the field of railway vehicles dynamics and the wheelrail contact. The main benefits of roller rig experiments are high controllability, repeatability and flexibility of experiment setup and usually also lower costs compared to the field tests. One of the goals of joint cooperation between the Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic (CTU) and the Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, Ukraine (DNURT) is to design, build, and finally to operate at the DNURT laboratory the new roller rig. The presented paper is an initial study prepared within the framework the joint project. It summarizes the possibilities of roller rig utilization for railway vehicles research and describes the main concepts of existing design solutions.
