Item Modeling the Quality of Current Collection Under the Conditions of a Growing Speed of Rolling Stock(Kaunas University of Technology, 2020) Kaniewski, M.; Kuznetsov, Valeriy; Hubskyi, Peter V.; Sychenko, Viktor G.; Antonov, Andrii V.EN: The use of high-speed electric rolling stock necessitates increased requirements for the reliability of its operation. Particular attention should be paid to the interaction of the contact line with current collectors. An important area is the development of tools for modeling the interaction of catenary with current collectors. At present, in some sections of railways, there is a need to increase the speed of trains and adapt the requirements for the design of the contact lines, which allow to the owner of the infrastructure to achieve the correct parameters for dynamic interaction on the pantograph-contact line interface in the point of view of the requirements of Energy TSI. In this work the authors discussed the problem of the equivalenting the contact line during the simulationItem Rational Integration Level of Solar Generation in Traction Power Supply Substations for Supplying Auxiliary Consumers(Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, 2021) Kuznietsov, M.; Kuznetsov, Valeriy; Ostapchuk, O.; Kuznetsov, Vitaliy; Hubskyi, Peter V.ENG: The paper considers the existing levels of electricity consumption by responsible consumers of gas and evaluates the use of solar generation to meet these needs. Using mathematical modeling based on real statistics, the dependences of solar power on the time of day are determined, which allows to estimate the random component of solar generation and determine the possibility of compensating the variability by using AB. The method of choosing the optimal capacity of the battery, taking into account the stochastic nature of solar generation is presented.Item Reserves for Improving the Energy Efficiency of Traction Power Systems(Instytut Kolejnictwa, Warszawa, 2018) Hubskyi, Peter V.EN: In the article, trends in the electric power industry were analyzed, namely, constant growth in energy resources and the need to improve energy effi ciency, the introduction of energy saving measures. Some methods of improving effi ciency in the railway transport industry are considered.
