Lazaryan, 2019) Lebid, Iryna; Kravchenya, Irina; Dubrovskaya, Tatyana; Luzhanska, Nataliia; Berezovyi, Mykola I.; Demchenko, Yevhen B.ENG: Abstract. The problems of railroad design technical reconstruction aimed at ensuring train protection in introduction of high-speed traffic on the rail lines have been addressed. The description of railroad technical system with certain specific features has been proposed. The pair of mutually dual problems regarding the optimal reconstruction of railway curves for raising train speeds at minimal capital investments has been addressed. The problem of determining the optimal speeds of trains of each category under optimum outer rail cant, increase of the unbalanced acceleration value, compliance with the condition of uniform load on rail tracks, comfortable carriage of passengers, in which reduced costs on increased speeds in curved tracks will be minimal has been formulated. To achieve the goals of the study, mathematical optimization techniques and algorithms of analysis of the rail lines of different nature are used. This, by finding and value engineering optimization, allows to minimize high-value and lengthy procedures of physical simulation. As a problem-solving technique, Lagrange multiplier method and its applicability have been proposed. Numeral solution to the problem of selection of certain stretches for increasing rolling stock speeds on operating lines without reconstruction or with minimum expenses on reconstruction of contour of track has been reviewed.Item The Influence of Customs and Logistics Service Efficiency on Cargo Delivery Time(National Aviation University, Kyiv, 2019) Luzhanska, Nataliia; Lebid, Iryna; Kotsiuk, Oleksandr; Kravchenya, Irina; Demchenko, Yevhen B.ENG: The formation of a logistics chain with the use of a freight customs complex for customs and logistics service provision requires detailed research and investigation into technical, technological and organizational constraints that may affect overall cargo delivery time. Actors in the transport market, while interacting with customs authorities, have to take into account customs legislation requirements and road transport complex operational characteristics, since non-compliance with them will cause a number of delays due to the need for corrective actions and will also entail a number of penalties. In order to increase the accuracy of delivery time planning, it is considered the procedure for customs and logistics service provision involved in cargo export and import as well as for stowing cargo in a customs warehouse or a temporary storage warehouse. It is also addressed the issue of comprehensive service provision to entities engaged in foreign economic activities using a freight customs complex. The most widespread violations requiring additional correction time are identified. It is considered the technological constraints connected with the handling capacity of the research object. The influence of the organization and planning of a freight customs complex`s operation on its efficiency is determined. It is proposed to consider the lack of available resources provided by customs infrastructure facilities and the excessive idle time of vehicles as a factor in delivery time planning The paper findings can be implemented in the operation of freight customs complexes in cooperation with private sector enterprises and state organizations when performing foreign trade operations.Item Influence Research of Traffic Prediction Accuracy on Effective Management of the Trains Breaking-Up Order(Silesian University of Tecnology, Katowice, Poland, 2016) Bardas, Oleksandr O.; Skovron, Ihor Ya.; Demchenko, Yevhen B.; Dorosh, Andrii S.ENG: The article presents the research results of management processes in order of trains breaking-up on marshalling yards. The objective of this article is determination the area of rational use of trains breaking-up order models. Model of trains breaking-up order selection is formalized in the form of stochastic programming task. With the help of simulation modeling was obtained the dependence, describing the impact of trains arrival forecasting error and sizes of car traffic processing on reducing operating costs of the marshalling yards through the management of trains breaking-up order. The investigations can establish the requirements for accuracy of information support of operational planning tasks necessary for achieving the desired economic effect of the management of trains breaking-up order.Item A Method for Optimization of Time Intervals between Rolling Cuts on Sorting Humps(Springer, Heidelberg, 2018) Kozachenko, Dmytro M.; Bobrovskyi, Volodymyr I.; Demchenko, Yevhen B.ENG: Abstract Sorting humps are the main technical means providing the breaking- and making-up of freight trains. Automation of sorting process by implementing microprocessor control systems is the main direction of increasing hump yard capacity, enhancement of safety in trains breaking-up, improvement of working conditions on hump yards. However, for wider introduction of such systems at the humps, it is necessary to reduce their cost. One of the main tasks of hump control systems is the determination of the optimal cars exit speeds from the retarders. Its solution is significantly complicated because of the uncertainty of cars rolling resistance coefficient, wind velocity and direction, retarder control errors. The paper is aimed at solving the problem of searching for such cars exit speeds from the retarders that provide the longest time intervals between them at the switches. Implementation of this method will make it possible to improve the quality of sorting process as a whole by improving the software of microprocessor control systems for automatic humping, rather than by increasing their technical facilities, which as a result will reduce the cost of their construction and operation. The research results, when solving the problem of searching for cars exit speeds from the retarders, allow us to move from searching for the maximum of a nonlinear non-smooth function of two variables to solution of an equation with one variable, which significantly accelerates and simplifies the solution to the problem.Item New Challenges for Risk and Crisis Management of Transport Systems(Talcom, Kyiv, 2022) Demchenko, Yevhen B.; Dorosh, Andrii S.ENG: Materials of scientific and practical research within the framework of the implementation of the project of the program of the European Union Erasmus+«Crisis and Risks Engineering for Transport Services» (CRENG) are presented in the monograph. The article objective was to determine the area of rational use of trains’ breaking-up order model, formalized in the form of stochastic programming problem. As a effectiveness criterion of trains’ breaking-up order operating costs of marshalling yard were used, including the costs associated with cars’ and locomotives’ dwell time on the station and its approaches, as well as costs associated with additional shunting work. With the help of simulation modeling the dependence was obtained, describing the impact of trains’ arrival forecasting error and processed car volumes on reducing operating costs of the marshalling yards through the trains’ breaking-up order control. The studies enable us to establish the requirements for the accuracy of information support of operational planning tasks, which is necessary to achieve the desired economic effect of the trains’ breaking-up order control.
