Стоит ли предпочесть дистанционную форму обучения дневной или заочной? (препринт)

Abstract

RU: Аннотация. В статье рассматриваются преимущества и недостатки дистанционной формы обучения по сравнению с дневной и заочной. Наша цель – выяснить, насколько оправдано предпочитать дистанционное образование традиционным формам. Представлены принципиальные различия между указанными формами обучения, как в материальном, так и в психологическом аспекте. Показаны качества студента, которыми он должен обладать, чтобы получить положительный результат при дистанционном обучении, а также сложности, с которыми он столкнётся. Приведены неоспоримые плюсы такой формы обучения перед другими формами и причины, почему дистанционное образование может быть неэффективным.

EN: Absrtact. The article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning compared to full-time and correspondence education. Modern information technologies can provide knowledge transfer and access to a variety of educational information on an equal basis with traditional teaching aids. The experiments confirmed that the quality and structure of training courses are often much better with distance learning than with traditional forms of training. Distance learning integrates all existing learning methods and offers a large number of tasks designed for independent study, with the possibility of receiving daily consultations. It uses the latest achievements of information and interactive technologies and gives equal educational opportunities to students regardless of place of living, health, elitism and financial security. But there are some disadvantages of distance learning as well, such as, lack of face-to-face communication, one-side explanation, and lack of practical skills. For distance learning a student must also have certain psychological qualities and technical capabilities such as a computer and an access to the Internet.
