Abstract
UKR: У статті досліджуються ономастичні засоби створення художнього образу міста в ліриці Ольги Пресіч – українсько-канадської поетеси. Визначено, що центральним місце у її творчості посідає столиця України – Київ. Це характерно для україномовної еміграційної поезії як прояв самоідентифікації. Зображення міста відбувається головним чином через топонімічні назви вулиць, будівель тощо. Виявлено, що в текстах віршів Ольги Пресіч також представлені світові назви, що допомагає вписати образ Батьківщини у світовий контекст.
RUS: У статті досліджуються ономастичні засоби створення художнього образу міста в ліриці Ольги Пресіч – українсько-канадської поетеси. Визначено, що центральним місце у її творчості посідає столиця України – Київ. Це характерно для україномовної еміграційної поезії як прояв самоідентифікації. Зображення міста відбувається головним чином через топонімічні назви вулиць, будівель тощо. ENG: In the article onomastic means of creating an artistic image of the city are investigated in the lyrics of Olga Pressitch – the Ukrainian-Canadian poet. An important place in the lyric poetry is the city image. Toponyms - the names of city objects and streets - are important strokes in depicting a city portrait. The space of poetry O. Presich goes beyond the borders of Ukraine, although the image of the capital is Kyiv - the central one. An analysis of the onomastic means of creating an image of the city is the aim of this article. There is determined, that central city in her creativity is the capital of Ukraine – Kyiv. This is typical for emigration poetry as a manifestation of self-identity. The image of the city is portrayed primarily through toponymic names of streets, buildings and so on. A special place in Ukrainian poetry, the sacral locus occupies its own names of church temples, which often symbolize spirituality, faith and beauty. In the lyrics of O. Presich, these toponyms have a deeper meaning. So, St. Sophia of Kiev is a symbol of the homeland in the memory of the past from the territories of a distant country. In this way, the oppositions are outlined in the past-modern, foreign land-motherland. As a result, not only the visual but also the sacred image of the city develops. It is revealed that in Olga Pressitch’s lyrics world and place names are also presented, that helps to demolish the image of the motherland into the global context. During the study, it was discovered that the image of a city in a poet is sometimes depicted using the use of onomastic means But these means are not fundamental, so it can be argued that they are only one of the stylistic means of poetics O. Presich.
