His work is multifaceted, but for many reasons it still remains poorly studied in Ukraine. Тhe poetic heritage of B. Aleksandriv tends to the neoclassical direction. Thematically, it fits perfectly into the context of Ukrainian emigration poetry of the twentieth century, has many echoes with the works of classical artists of mainland Ukraine (where the central theme is the theme of the homeland). B. Oleksandriv's intimate lyrics are characterized by sincerity, tenderness, elegance, musicality and singing. Signs of B. Oleksandriv's philosophical lyrics are also self-immersion, meditation, contemplation. The existence and disclosure of the theme of death gives existentiality to the poet's works. Attention is paid to the poet's satirical works and literary translations. Unfortunately, due to his sudden death, the poet did not have time to fully reveal his potential. Реалізація поставленої мети передбачає вирішення низки завдань, як-от: 1) визначення тематичної своєрідності ліричних творів поета; 2) дослідження наскрізних образів та мотивів; 3) визначення художніх засобів, що створюють авторський стиль поета. Наукова новизна. У статті виокремлюються як домінантні такі основні мотиви лірики Б. Realization of the set purpose provides the decision of a number of problems, such as: 1) definition of thematic originality of lyrical works of the poet; 2) research of end-to-end images and motives; 3) the definition of artistic means that create the author's style of the poet. Scientific novelty. The article considers as dominant such main motives of B. Oleksandriv’s lyrics as nostalgia for the homeland, loneliness in a foreign land (in their connection the opposition of a foreign land – home is clearly traced). Розглядається проблема вакцинації від COVID-19 як головного напряму боротьби з пандемією, що охопила весь світ, призвела до високої смертності, падіння економіки, зростання соціальної напруги, докорінної зміни суспільного буття. Методологія полягає у дотриманні принципів історичної науки, насамперед, принципів об’єктивності та конкретності, використання аналітичного й описового методів. У статті подано огляд наявних на сьогодні вакцин та ситуацію з процесом вакцинації у світі й Україні. Характеризуються плюси й мінуси різних вакцин, які мали врятувати людей від хвороби і смерті. Наукова новизна. Основну увагу приділено початку вакцинації в Україні, яка розпочалась 24 лютого 2021 р. Акцент робиться на впливі політичних чинників на зазначений процес. Показані дії української влади у боротьби з пандемією, починаючи від вибору вакцини і закінчуючи організацією щеплення людей. Висновки. Стверджується, що влада керувалася при цьому не тільки медико-санітарними, але й політичними мотивами; виявився також непрофесіоналізм багатьох чиновників, які мали забезпечити належні темпи і якість вакцинації населення. Усе це призвело до загострення епідеміологічної ситуації в країні, великого числа жертв пандемії. Українська влада, на жаль, виявилася неготовою для подолання третьої хвилі пандемії, як до цього виявила безпорадність під час першої й другої хвиль, коли існував дефіцит медичних масок, ліжок у лікарнях, засобів захисту, кисню, ПЛР-тестів для визначення хвороби тощо. Певну негативну роль у цьому відіграв також недостатньо високий авторитет влади, недовіра багатьох людей до неї, серед них – і лікарів. З кожним днем епідеміологічна ситуація в Україні погіршується, й «світла в тунелі» цьому поки не видно. Тому питання вакцинації є як ніколи актуальним.; ENG: The aim of the article is to show the influence of a political factor on the process of vaccination of the Ukrainian population being an important tool of survival of the Ukrainian nation and individuals in the context of the global deadly pandemic COVID-19. The problem of vaccination against COVID-19 has been considered as the main direction of combating the pandemic that had spread throughout the world, led to high mortality, economic decline, growing social tensions and a radical change in social life. The methodology lays in observing the principles of historical science, first of all, the principles of objectivity and concreteness, the use of analytical and descriptive methods. An overview of currently available vaccines and the situation with the vaccination process in the world and in Ukraine has been given in the article. The pros and cons of various vaccines that were supposed to save people from disease and death have been characterized. The main attention has been paid to the beginning of vaccination in Ukraine, which started on February 24, 2021. The emphasis has been made on the influence of political factors on this process. The actions of the Ukrainian authorities in the fight against the pandemic have been shown, starting from the choice of the vaccine and ending by the organization of vaccination of people. It has been stated that the authorities were guided not only by medical and sanitary motives, but also by the political ones; there was also the unprofessionalism of many officials, who had to ensure the proper pace and quality of vaccination of the population. All this has exacerbated the epidemiological situation in the country, caused a large number of victims of the pandemic. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian authorities were not ready to overcome the third wave of the pandemic, as they had shown their helplessness during the first and second waves, when was a shortage of medical masks, hospital beds, protective equipment, oxygen, PCR tests to diagnose the disease and more. A certain negative role in this was also played by the insufficiently high authority of the government, the distrust of many people, including doctors, to it. Every day the epidemiological situation in Ukraine is deteriorating, and the "light in the tunnel" is not yet visible.
