Краткий осмотр (реферат): ENG: It is shown that in the mixed traffic of trains compared to the directions specialized for transportation of freight and passengers, the traffic capacity is sharply reduced, and costs on repairs and maintenance of track infrastructure increase by 1.5-2 times. The paper outlines ways to solve the problem in the distribution of directions with mainly freight and passenger traffic to increase the traffic capacity of transportation on the rail network. Among the activities, there is the transmission of transit freight flow on parallel runs. Furthermore, changing the operation conditions of railways in the case of implementing the high-speed trains traffic requires strengthening the existing railway lines in the event of insufficient reserves.

Краткий осмотр (реферат): ENG: Based on the analysis of solutions to the classical problems of soil mechanics and geomechanics on determining the&#xD;
critical height and angle of the slope, as well as active and passive pressure on the enclosing structures, to identify the&#xD;
optimal strength criteria and the limits of their application, which allow predicting the destruction of ideally free-flowing,&#xD;
ideally plastic rocks, as well as rocks characterized by internal friction and specific cohesion, which is necessary for&#xD;
calculating the strength and stability of underground and open mine workings in the supercritical region - after the destruction&#xD;
of the near-contour region.&#xD;
The areas of application of some criteria for the strength of soils and rocks are outlined and substantiated. It is shown that,&#xD;
in contrast to the known strength criteria of Z.T. Benyavsky, Hoek - Brown and A.N. Shashenko Coulomb - Mohr strength&#xD;
criterion and our proposed modification of the strength criterion of A.N. Shashenko allow predicting the destruction of&#xD;
ideally - free flowing, ideally - plastic rocks, as well as rocks characterized by internal friction and specific cohesion.

Краткий осмотр (реферат): ENG: There is a class of tasks that requires considering the dynamics not only for rolling stock but also for the response of the railway track. One of the directions of railway transport development, which encourages the transition to fundamentally new dynamic models of the railway track, is undoubtedly an increase in traffic speed. To solve such problems, the authors applied a model of the stressed-strained state of a railway track based on the dynamic problem of elasticity theory. The feature of this model is the calculation of dynamic stresses and deformations induced by the spread of elastic waves through the objects of the railway track. Based on the mathematical modeling of stress propagation in the under-rail basis, authors have shown the influence of various objects of a railway track on the formation of the outline of the front of the elastic wave and determined the main time intervals. Furthermore, the authors propose the following analytical method, which, in addition to the soil's physical and mechanical properties, considers the properties of the ballast as a layer that transmits pressure to the roadbed and takes an active part in the formation of the interaction space.

Краткий осмотр (реферат): ENG: Most European countries successfully solve the problem of national passenger transportation due to a significant increase in speed. Such measures are carried out both on existing railways through their modernization, and on specially built lines. Mass passenger transportation along the HSN has confirmed their extremely high reliability, safety, economic efficiency, ecological cleanness, and attractiveness for passengers. The creation of international networks based on the potentials of individual countries leads to the need for establishing the following operational and technical parameters of domestic high-speed railway lines, which would have operational compatibility with the Trans-European HSN. The interconnection between the volume of passenger traffic with the specified factors allows to predict promising passenger flow and evaluate the effectiveness in the organization of high-speed running in a particular direction. The economic integration of countries in the European Union allows increasing passenger flows on international travel. This circumstance leads to the problem solution in connecting national high-speed highways into a single European network.
